Malachite meaning: the name derives from the Greek malachee which means mallow, due to its green color like the leaves of the plant. The coloring is due to the copper oxide: intense green alternating in lighter and darker curved areas.

Malachite properties in crystal therapy: it is a stone that with its energy gives protection and peace. Promotes relaxation, promotes positive thoughts, relieves stress and tension, promotes peaceful sleep. It has a strong absorption power and therefore should be placed over the suffering areas to discharge pain and negative energy.
